Hi, my name is
Vineeth Somanchi.
I am a software developer

I have 4 years of professional software development experience with a focus in full stack engineering as well as interests in data science and machine learning. In May of 2019, I graduated from New York University’s Tandon School of Engineering with a B.S. in Computer Science and a minor in Management. With experience in Python, Ruby, JavaScript ES6 (React/Redux), as well as a multitude of tools like Git, Amazon Web Services, Docker, Chrome DevTools, and G Suite; I am seeking a full-time opportunity to work with a group of driven individuals in making innovative ideas a reality.
My personal projects include VinFlix - a full stack, single-page, pixel-perfect recreation of Netflix, Donald's Day Off - a sling-shot based interactive game featuring sprite animation and a custom physics engine, React Tetris - a block stacking mini game showcasing my experience with the latest 16.8 React.js and ES6 JavaScript, Sartoria - a social-media inspired clothing catalogue web app, and MSIM - an equipment management solution built for NYU's Media Services.
As a current Hacker in Residence at App Academy, I aid in the instruction of a full stack curriculum to rising developers. As a full stack/data science engineer for Fuse Inventory, I used Python to perform statistical analysis and predictive analytics on our client's inventory sales data and JavaScript to visualize how they can optimize their marketing strategies. As a full stack web developer for FoSho, I led the backend development of our event-planning web application including database management and RESTful API development. As a technical project manager for Tier 1 Event Management, I aided our Scrum master in the fulfillment of team-wide obligations including sprint planning, daily standups, and code reviews.
